“Our Mission – Creating and Supporting Profound Leadership Making a Difference in the World”

The Chinook Institute for Civic Leadership is an organization founded in 2010 by John Morgan and several other public sector leaders. John had been the leader of the Pacific Program for many years. Chinook was designed to dig deeper and farther into leadership development working with cutting edge theory and practice of leadership. Looking to the best examples and teaching from academic, public, and private sector organizations and leadership, Chinook is focused on teaching profound leadership skills, insight, and wisdom; and focused on learning from the examples of what works.

The Chinook Institute for Civic Leadership is primarily engaged in producing the annual Chinook Program which is a week‐long immersion in top‐level leadership learning, and the 20:20 Leadership Conference, a multi‐day leadership development program designed for emerging leaders and those needing a short‐course refresher.
